                                                                        MEETING HELD FOR SELECTION OF BPL LIST


ANINI, April 5: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner of the district, R. Ronya who is also the principal, district BPL census. The  chairman requested the implementing agency and ZPMs/ASMs to strictly follow the procedures as prescribed in the guidelines for selection of BPL list so that the genuine poor people are benefited by the scheme.Reports DIPRO. In the meeting, project director DRDA, P. N. Thungong highlighted the guidelines for the selection of BPL list of the district and urged to select them on score basis as specified in the guidelines. He further instructed the BDO concerned to strictly follow the guidelines and to conduct meeting at the Panchayat level at the earliest for proper scrutiny and for deletions and additions of new household. The house approved the household scoring between 21 to 30 as BPL and above 30 score as APL. Besides this, the selection procedure for beneficiaries under JAY, for five years on cluster basis and regarding released of money under various centrally sponsored scheme of DRDA from Arunachal State Apex Bank, Anini branch were also discussed amicably. In the meeting, besides all three BDOS of the district, Toloka Mihu(Zilla Parishad Member, Anini), Mita Mihu(Anchal Chaiperson, Anini) 
and Mopi Mihu (ASM) were also present.
